the accual piece is 18" x18" some of the image is not shown for sake of scanning. was scanned in 2 pieces so i did some touch up in photo shop to blend the seam.

pencil and white acrylic on raritan heavy weight paper

Eek...I know what it's like to have to scan something in in two pieces. My scanner is too small to fit one whole page in sketchbook in. Which is sad because I usually use the whole page.

Lovely portrait. although he appears to have a missing neck.

thank you. if you could see the rest of the portrait he is wearing a sleaveless black shirt. his beard just covers the coller but his shoulders a visable and more of his chest. i used an old cover of rollin stone for referance. the pic has not so clear so most of the facial detail was used off other photos.

thank you much . same for me. other bands have come and gone but zombies always been there for me. ive bought 2 and even 3 copys of some of his albums because of wear and tear. lol...but true

thank you. ill know next time to buy a bigger scanner. hes leaning forward so you cant see his neck line

thanks, the contrast is probabley why i love to use acrylics with my pencil so much. i truely enjoyed your gallery. beautiful work !

Very nice! Excellent contrast and detail! And it actually looks just like Rob Zombie which is always important in portrait drawing!
